Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company recently announced the launch of a free life insurance program available to working families in Bloomfield, Connecticut, and the surrounding areas.
Through the program, Mass Mutual is giving away free $50,000 term life insurance policies to benefit children of working families. Part of the company's LifeBridgeSM program, Mass Mutual will pay the premiums on all the policies. Parents and legal guardians can sign up for a policy at the World Without Limits Health and Wellness Fair in October, the Hartford Courant reported.
"The mission of the World Without Limits health and wellness fair is to provide health education and information to equip underinsured individuals and families to take ownership of improving their health and life outcomes," said Dianne Davis, chairperson and co-founder of the fair.
In addition, Mass Mutual was recently presented with the highest honor for outstanding communication and education programs through its retirement services at the 2011 PSCA Signature Awards. The annual awards conference honors retirement plan service providers and plan sponsors that successfully help American workers effectively plan for retirement.
"Their programs continue to evolve to embrace different plan types, cultural and language differences and the diverse ways participants learn," said David Wray, president of PSCA.
