More consumers are looking to online quote sites for information regarding life insurance providers, policies and options. Life insurance providers have also started supplying consumers with online resources and applications to help answer any questions they may have and aid them in their purchasing decision.
For example, American General Life Companies recently launched its AG Quick Ticket web-based life insurance application. With the online tool, customers can complete and submit their life insurance application electronically from their computer or tablet, which in turn speeds up the underwriting process, interview and exam.
“In a single click, producers can access AG Quick Ticket and reap the benefits of reduced paperwork, quicker policy issuance, quicker receipt of commissions and more time in their very busy schedules," said Mary Jane Fortin, president and CEO of American General.
In addition, Accenture's life and annuity insurance policy administration software known as the Accenture Life Insurance Platform recently won two XCelent Awards for its ability to simplify the application process and allow life insurance agents to focus more on their clients.
The software won awards in Advanced and Flexible Technology, and Depth of Service. The system is easily customizable, and allows for staff to analyze data and collect customer feedback.
